The February 2017 Astrology Highlights Two Important Turning Point Eclipse

The February 2017 Astrology Highlights Two Important Turning Point Eclipse. With two back to back eclipses (one in dramatic Leo & the other in emotional Pisces), this is not a month to be taken lightly. Given that Aquarius, the sign that likes to be different, will be in full focus we can expect the month ahead to have a twist of business NOT as usual. Unexpected events and new turning points are about to come to the table.

If anyone is in need of some action then this is the time it’s going to be found. Events will be happening and new discoveries will take place. A big awakening into our souls is in the works and it’s something we should all be aware of. Eclipses get us more in touch with new directions we need to take AND old ones we need to say good-bye to.

Get ready for a new roller-coaster ride to begin. Welcome to February—one of the most intense months of the year!

FEBRUARY 1st-5th

“JUPITER RETROGRADE”

Eclipse

The month of February kicks off with communications Mercury in a bit of a bind with both Uranus & Jupiter. On the positive, these combinations can make us feel busy, optimistic and ready to tackle big things. The drawback is that our excitement could prevent us from looking at the details. This is GO-GO-GO territory. Given that there are overly optimistic tendencies in play – keep an open eye on missing important details.

On February 3rd, Venus, the planet of relationships and money will enter the sign of Aries which is not her best placement. Venus likes to relax and in Aries, she’s got to put on her warrior gear. We are going to have to learn to deal, however, because she’ll be getting an extra dose of the Aries love this time around. Venus will be retrograding in this sign (along with Pisces) beginning in March.

The biggest news of the week will have to do with Jupiter. The lucky planet begins his annual retrograde on February 5th. His turn backward will highlight the sign of Libra in big ways. Interestingly enough, the Super Bowl, one of America’s biggest sporting events, is taking place at this time. I’m sure it’ll be an eventful game and some referee calls may get the heat! While luck will take a bit of a turn over the next several months, some of us might be able to catch a few extra lucky pops in the process.

JANUARY 6th-12th

“OPPORTUNISTIC LEO FULL MOON ECLIPSE”

Eclipse

The week kicks off with Mercury switching gears and entering Aquarius on February 7th. Here, communications take on an unusual twist and the potential for “outside the box” thinking magnifies. While this turn is important, the really big news has to do with an opportunistic Full Moon Eclipse.

On February 10th, a powerful Full Moon Eclipse in Leo lights up the night sky and creates some fortunate blessings. An important turning point takes place here and fate comes into play with The Finger of God Combination being highlighted. The week will round up on an abundant note with the Sun making a favorable trine to Jupiter on February 11th. This is definitely my favorite week of the month!

“ALL MINE VALENTINE”

Eclipse

Everyone will be talking about the day of love this week! Some will give into the hype while others could care less. From a planetary standpoint, this Valentine’s Day (February 14th) isn’t all cupcakes and butterflies. On the positive, the Moon will be swimming through Libra – the sign that likes to have a partner and mingle. The complicated part is that Venus will be immersed in her warrior Aries gear. She’s going to be struggling with the Moon who wants to get her zen on. Someone’s being prompted to be a little selfish and get their “all about me” attitude on. The holiday this year should be renamed “all mine valentine.”

On February 18th, the Sun will make his official entrance into the last sign of the zodiac Pisces. On the positive Pisces can create a magical romantic vibe – while on the negative it can drift some of us off into the sea. There can be an ungrounding effect that comes out which makes “la la land” very enticing to go to.  On a personal note, this is my personal favorite time of year since I’m born under this sign. Pisces power in the house! All of my Pisces, including myself, are getting ready to celebrate our Solar Returns — AKA: their Birthdays!

FEBRUARY 20th-26th

“HIGH ENERGY PISCES SOLAR ECLIPSE”

Eclipse

Gear up for one of the most impactful weeks of 2017. Energy will be ramping up all week long and it begins on February 22nd when Mars moves into a rough place with both the Moon and Pluto. Intensity is an understatement with this combination! Communications-driven Mercury moves into Pisces on February 25th making things seem a little foggier than usual. Uncertainty starts delving into our thoughts and getting the point across gets complicated.

The grand finale takes place at the end of the week. A powerful Solar Eclipse in Pisces creates a major energy surge on February 26th. New beginnings are in motion but there are some very intense energies that come along for the ride. This is an important eclipse closing out a series of eclipses in Pisces that have been in play over the last few years. A major turning point is in play as a result.

FEBRUARY 27th-28th

“MARS URANUS CONJUNCTION”

Eclipse

The month closes out on an eventful note. The energy of the Solar Eclipse will still be around as we close things out. On February 27th-28th, action driven Mars will conjunct Uranus and then oppose Jupiter creating some major sparks. This could cause for some intense surprises as well as irrational behaviors. Mars will be on overdrive here and an intensity to “DO” will be strong – we just don’t want to do anything crazy as a result of the driving energy.

There is a possible positive side to this dramatic time. If we are in need of an over-abundance of energy this could be the ticket. Some of us will be on over-drive. It can also be used constructively to assert our individuality. No matter how we slice it—a statement is about to be made!
